MPBC is about all kinds of people coming together to be a community of love, faith, hope, joy and peace centred in Jesus. We are a diverse group united by our repentance and faith in the death, resurrection and coming again of Jesus Christ. We seek to be the blessing of God to each other and to help each other grow in our understanding and experience of God's love. It is exciting to be the Lord's people together. We seek to be active and responsive in the Lord's work. This might mean food parcels or playgroups or the Introducing God course or holding services in retirement places or... Thank you for visiting our website. We wish you the blessing of belonging to a Christian community wherever you are or whoever you are!

The Pastors.

Sunday July 5th is a BIG Sunday.  There is breakfast from 9am and then we are AllTogether at 10am.  There is the usual cafe at about 11.15am. At noon there will be Prayers for Healing.
Next Sunday, July 12th, we are back to 'normal' with Hi imPACT and the Celebration at 10am and around 10.30am KOSMIC and creche for the children and JAM for the teens.  
 
 A new contemporary service starting soon.  This will be in addition to the Sunday 10am celebration.   Likely starting date Sunday August 9, 2pm.
 
Holiday Club has started and runs till lunchtime Friday July 3rd. Ring the church on 93262499  for more info.  The Holiday Club caters for children from age 3 up to and including Grade 6.  It starts at 10am and finishes at noon.  Parents are welcome to stay or to come and go.
 
Foodbank and 'The Meal'.  We want you to know that we have food parcels available on any day of the week-whenever there is someone at the church to handle enquiries.  Also there is a 'community meal' every Monday night between 6pm and 7pm.  We start at 6pm and diners are free to 'eat and run' or stay a while.  In winter we are adding soup to to the menu to make it a 3 course dinner!  Like the food parcels the meal is a free community service.

Hi imPACT is a worship time for children and their parents. It meets in the Big Hall at 10am each Sunday and finishes at 10.30 am, when the children go to KOSMIC* and Creche and teens go to JAM*. About 100 children and their parents enjoy Hi imPACT because it is worship with fun as well as some serious moments. Most of the older teens go into the Worship Celebration held in the sanctuary at 10am and then into the JAM session at 10.30am. Parents who have been a part of Hi imPACT join the Worship Celebration in the sanctuary for prayer and for preaching and on the first Sunday of each month, Communion. We catch up with each other in the Cafe.
